Brokerage Knowledge
Brokerage Settings → Knowledge is where EVE learns how your brokerage works: the policy manual, the onboarding deck, the recorded training session, the page on your website that explains your referral fee. Once something is here, EVE answers questions about it and says where the answer came from.
Two kinds of knowledge
EVE already knows the rules the platform enforces for you: your document packs, task lists, compliance rules and the state defaults you reviewed. Ask "what does a buyer file need before we submit" and she reads those directly. You do not upload a copy of a rule the platform already runs; that would give her two versions to disagree about.
Knowledge is for everything else, the material that lives in documents and people's heads: how you split referrals, what the office does when a client wants to cancel, who signs off on a listing price change.
What you can add
- Documents: PDFs and text files. The policy manual, the ICA summary, the office handbook.
- Recordings: audio or video, such as a sales meeting or a training session. EVE transcribes it and reads the transcript. Recordings are capped per file and per day, and the page tells you the limit before you pick one.
- Web pages: paste an address and EVE reads that one page. It does not crawl the rest of the site.
Adding the same file again keeps the one you already have.
Who can see what
Every source has an audience, chosen when you add it and changeable later:
- Everyone at the brokerage
- One office
- One team
- Only me
A source outside someone's audience is not hidden from their answers; it is absent from them. That applies to brokers too. If you narrow a source's audience, re-uploading the same file does not widen it again.
How EVE answers
Ask a policy question anywhere you talk to EVE ("what's our policy on earnest money deposits", "how does the office handle a dual agency request"). She looks first at the rules the platform enforces, then at your Knowledge, and cites the passage she used. When nothing you added answers the question, she says she does not know rather than guessing. Something the platform verified is presented as a rule; something your brokerage wrote down is presented as your brokerage's practice.
Voice questions skip Knowledge; it is a reading feature.
When something goes wrong
A file EVE cannot read, a recording she cannot transcribe, or a page she cannot fetch shows that on its row with what to try instead: a shorter clip, the audio track alone, or saving the page as a PDF and uploading that.
