AI assistant connector

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Raven

Ask the AI assistant you already use about your Raven work: what is waiting on you this week, which file has a document your broker sent back, how far you are from cap. It works with Claude, ChatGPT and any app that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) with sign-in. It reads only what you can already see in Raven.

The connector URL

Reads by default

Paste this address into your AI assistant, then sign in to Raven and approve the connection.

Add it to Claude

Claude
  1. Open your connectorsIn Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Add a custom connectorChoose Add custom connector, paste the connector URL, and choose Add.
  3. Sign in to RavenChoose Connect. Raven asks you to sign in, shows what Claude will be able to see, and asks which workspace to use when you have more than one.
  4. ApproveChoose Allow. You are back in Claude, and Raven is ready to answer.

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds the connector once under Organization settings, Connectors (Add, then Custom). Each member then connects from Customize, Connectors and signs in to Raven with their own account.

Add it to ChatGPT

ChatGPT
  1. Turn on developer modeIn ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Apps. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode. On a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, an admin may need to allow it first.
  2. Create the appChoose Create app, name it Raven, paste the connector URL, and choose OAuth for authentication.
  3. Sign in to RavenConfirm, then sign in to Raven when the window opens. Raven shows what ChatGPT will be able to see.
  4. ApproveChoose Allow, then pick Raven from the tools menu in a new chat.

ChatGPT sometimes calls this menu Connectors instead of Apps. Custom apps run in ChatGPT on the web.

What it can read

Your access only
  • Your people: names, contact details, stage, tags, notes and agreement status
  • Your Transactions: property, status, key dates, prices, checklist and open tasks
  • Your tasks and appointments
  • Your commission and cap progress
  • For brokers and admins: the broker review queue and the brokerage financials report
Never
  • Anything you cannot already see in Raven. Each answer goes through the same rules the Raven app uses for that screen.
  • MLS listing data, listing photos or document files.
  • Other people's data, or another workspace's.
Read only. It can read, it can't change anything in Raven.

Questions to try

Agents
  • What's waiting on me this week?
  • Which of my transactions has a document my broker sent back?
  • Who closes in the next 30 days, and what's still missing on each file?
  • How far am I from cap this year?
Brokers and admins
  • What's in my review queue, oldest first?
  • What's our company dollar this year, closed and pending, by office?
  • Which agents are closest to cap?

Acting with your confirmation

Optional

A connection can also do two things for you: send a document for signature through Raven Ink, and file a combined package onto the right checklist items. Neither is part of a read-only connection. You allow them with a separate box when you connect, and each time the assistant first shows you exactly what it will do, who it will email and which items it will fill. Raven does it only after you say yes, and it refuses a confirmation that does not match what you were shown.

For brokers and team owners

Workspace setting

A personal workspace allows connections from the start, because the agent is the only person whose data it reaches. A team or brokerage workspace keeps them off until the owner or an admin turns them on in Brokerage Settings, Integrations.

Turning it off later keeps every connection but stops it reading anything. The assistant is told the workspace has connections turned off, and they work again when the setting is turned back on.

A second setting decides whether assistants may act, with confirmation. It follows the same default: on for a personal workspace, off for a team or brokerage until the owner or an admin turns it on. Owners and admins also see who has connected which assistant, and can end any connection.

Disconnecting

  • In Raven, open Settings, Integrations, AI assistants and choose Disconnect.
  • Or remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT.
  • A connection also ends on its own when your Raven password changes or you leave the workspace. After 30 days without use, your assistant asks you to sign in again.

How your information is handled

Raven records every lookup a connection makes: which tool it used and how many records came back. It never records the words you typed or what came back.

Once your information reaches your AI assistant, how it is stored and whether it is used for training are set by your agreement with that provider. Review those settings before connecting.
